Mr. Nasser Sharif is President of the California Society for Democracy in Iran (CSDI). For over 40 years, Mr. Sharif has advocated for human rights in Iran and a US policy that supports the Iranian people for a representative and free republic.

Mrs. Batool Zamani is the Chairwoman of the Iranian American Community of Georgia. An active leader in our community, Mrs. Zamani has 30+ years of community outreach and organization experience.

Mr. Assad Daryani is an accomplished photographer and enthusiastic OIAC community member. Like countless others inside and outside Iran, Assad’s family members have been persecuted and killed by the clerical regime. Through his lens, Assad captures and shares images and stories from our activities across the United States.

Mrs. Mitra Samani is a member of the Iranian American Community in Southern California. A former political prisoner in Iran, Mrs. Samani particularly elevates the role of women in our community and regularly highlights the ongoing sacrifice of women against fundamentalism in Iran.
